For gods sake, he's taken over my brain.

Heres the angel again. His name is DOminique. I worked on proportions a lot in this one.

One more angel.

Ok, so I posted that first pic on a the Biff fan forum, and one of the other members, Synchro, did a sketch of him. I think it's pretty badass and noteworthy, so I'm posting it her. You can check out Synchro's Deviantart page here

Angel (redone)

So I made a few modifications to the finished angel pic yesterday. I made him a little bigger (he had some serious anorexia) and I changed the wings a little. The sword in the left hand...I tried to make it look a little better, but it's beyond salvage, I think. Oh well.

Hand-Drawn

My forte is definently not digital art. Doing free-hand with the Wacom...not my thing. Which is why most of the art I've posted is well...un-goodish.
I like to think I'm a pretty decent artist when it comes to plain old pencil and paper. I do a lot of little doodles and sketches during the school year (which is probably why I get C's >.<) Well anyway, I took some of my favorite and ripped em out and scanned em. Probelm is, they're on notebook paper, which is lined, so ya. I'm gonna digitally trace each one (one's already done) but here's the three I scanned.

#2 I already have the finished product of, which is this.

I was incredibly please with how this came out. It's definently one of the better (if not the best) drawings I've done in a long time.

Aight. Peace out for now.

Speedy Freakout!!!

OK.

So.

I suck. I know. Me no update 'nuff. Ya know, especially since I have hordes of admiring fans just wanting more of my art.

HA!

Anywho, I'm gonna give you the whole scoop on Speedy Freakout!!! just cuz alot of my upcoming art is probably gonna have to do with that.
Aight, so SF WAS this live-action comic some friends and I do. We wrote ahead and had planned for about 20 issues. Well when I say "live-action" I mean that we would pose and take pics then put 'em in comic form.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeell....one of our main characters is goin on vacation until like August 10th, which is about 6 days before everyone else (not me) has to leave for college. Also, some people were just getting apathetic about it. So we're gonna draw the rest of it. Here's a preview sketch for the next issue.

Deathly Hallows

Oh.

My.

God.

I LOVED the seventh harry potter book. It was so amazing. I won't spoil anything, but wow. If you haven't read any of the books yet, then the seventh book is worth the time just to read the others. Anyway, here's a base sketch of a scene in a book. I'll post the completed one later.

I think they should spell it newz.

OK, sorry about the lack of update. I've been kinda busy lately and whatnot. With what, I shall explain.

1. Movies - I'm a huge cinema-goer. To me, there is nothing quite like the unique smell of watered down coke, greasy popcorn, and the aromas of your fellow movie-watchers. But so far this summer, only three movies have really stood out to me. Pirates 3 was ok, but it was more on an equal level with PIrates 2, which I didn't like as much as the first. Spiderman 3 was also meh-ish. The second one was much better, and they tried to cram three storylines into one movie in 3. I was also dissapointed by Shrek 3, which wasn't bad, just wasn't anywhere near as good as the second one. Very sad. I didn't get a chance to see Disturbia, but I heard it was really good, and wouldn't be suprised if it was. But right now, the first of two summer movies that I truly ejoyed, is Harry Potter and THe Order of the Phoenix. It is by far the best of the Harry Potter movies, and as far as I can remember, pretty true to the storyline. I'm still mad that they dropped Peeves b/c I wanted him to salute George and Fred when they flew off and said "give her hell". The other movie I really enjoyed was Live Free or Die Hard. OF course, it doesn't have any intelecttual value, but it was still pretty damn badass. The tunnel scene? Still gives me goosebumps when I think about it.
But the crowning jewel of this summer, for sure, is Transformers. When I first saw previews, I will admit that I laughed. I was like "Omg whoever goes and sees that is a dork or a little kid." But then they started showing fight scenes from it, and damn. It looked good. By July 2nd, I was highly anticipating it. To me, it always seems the more you anticipate a movie, the more it's going to dissapoint you. Transformers did that in no way shape or form. It was brilliant. The only thing I didn't think was really neccassary was the whole "british girl and Anthony Anderson hackers" storyline. It just seemed out of place. But honestly, other than that, I don't have any bones to pick with this movie. It is quite literally the must-see movie of the summer.

Onto other things.

2. Speedy Freakout!!! - So some friends and I do this comic called Speedy Freakout!!!. It's pretty cool, and it's an excuse to get together, eat junk food, and play guitar hero. Currently, we're only on Facebook, but we're looking to expand (we're thinking either Drunkduck or Smackjeeves). If you're on Facebook, check us out, just search Speedy Freakout and it'll be a group, all the issues are in there. Well anyway, lately, we've been shooting more, and also been having a lot of cast problems. I've also been working on two issues at once (i'm in charge of formatting - i put all the pics in comic form and add the speech). So ya.

3. Summer reading - Last of the Mohicans and Raisin in the SUn, AND a packet of nine nonfiction stories, plus i gotta take notes on all of them. Ugh.

4. Comic - the next post I'm doing is a comic, so it takes longer. Deal with it.

Sketches

This was a sketch of a character from a book I was GOING to write (I have a lot of those). Anona Hawkthorn was her name. So ya. Hm. I need to do more stuff. Meh. Here's a little bonus pic for y'all. It's a fanart of Biff, Chris Halbeck's character. Check him out, I have his link on the side.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Omg teh piczors!!1

I did this freehand with the Wacom. It's not very good, but I really don't have anything else. It was more of an expeiriment in filters and lighting effects and whatnot. I'm gonna start posting more, because, ya know, my massive hordes of fans command it. Meh.

Dog Pictures

I sketched (traced) these pics of my dog. Wacom tablet ftw.
